Hello Everyone

My name is Shristi Rajbhandari. I am originally from Nepal but  have lived in the UK for the past five years. I am now a Master of Arts in International Journalism from University College Falmouth, UK.

I am a Trainee Multimedia Journalist with a strong interest in news and current affair. I will soon be going back to my hometown and I am eager to prove myself and put all my learning skills in Nepalese media and bring about changes out there. Whatever time I have spent abroad, it has immensely boosted my confidence and help me understand how international media works during my internships. Thus I believe working as an intern will largely play a pivotal role in my career as I will be able to learn and grasp all the essential qualities required to work as a journalist who can make a ‘real’ difference in the lives of the people and especially reach out to all those uncovered areas. Thus, enabling me for better job prospects in the global news world in South East Asia. Today I am confident that I can contribute into this challenging sector at the same time I am hungry to learn and broaden my horizons.
